Went for a walk last Sunday…9 miles through the countryside in Granada/ centuries in time/ saw no one else for hours…started in the Albaicin, then through Sacramonte (the home of flamenco & where people still live in cuevas (caves)), through miles of olive orchards, climbing a thousand feet or more and ended at the Alhambra. it was challenging and lovely…
The streams and waterfalls kept me cool…the unknown kept me alive.
When was the last time you took a risk to walk alone?
