This amazing couple #lovewhereyoulive #lovewhatyoudo #loveeachother -to have all this!!! They work every day except Tuesday, creating dishes in a beautiful plaza in a beautiful town and have for decades…and not only love each other (spontaneously holding hands!), but love what they do. Carmen and I had an an epic discussion about my favorite…boquerones, that began our friendship.

Miguel, her marido, is the chef and they both greet and serve and enjoy their patrons. They live above the cafe and have apartments to rent. This is their life, their love and passion.

Tonight when I stopped by (more boquerones!), she asked me to help translate for an American couple (who coincidentally are from Longview Washington (close to my mom)), I was honored. This is love, this is Spain.
