You pronounce it with a whisper….ca dith-a whisper in terms of its size compared to other Spanish cities; a shout out in terms of history, beaches, el mar, the casco (centro), la comida (from the ocean!), the people.

While there is much still for me to explore in Malaga, the weekend opportunity to travel between classes and to meet up with some amazing pickleball friends made a trip to Cadiz a must. I’d travelled to Tarifa with mija several years ago, but never to this beautiful city.
My home in Cadiz- Plaza Candeleria 4, the traditional interior courtyard, the amazing private terraza and the ever present orange trees in the Plaza.
Of course, the city is famous for its seafood and found only in Cadiz is the shrimp tortilla-delicious and 1 euro!
