Whether you call it ir de compras or the pasear, Spain is a walking & shopping country. To pasear or to walk is a national pastime-doesn’t matter what city, the time of day or why. Young & old, friends, family, or solo it is a wonderful way to spend the day or night.

In a metropolitan area of over 6 million people, I love seeing people of all generations holding hands and walking, talking, greeting each other from their balconies….yes this is a country of love and everyone…on the streets, in the shops, restaurants takes the time to say Hola, Buenas!!!
Spain is a walking country and it seems that & the mediterranean diet leads to a longer, healthier life? There are so few unhoused in Spain in the bigger cities compared to the United States- is there a better way we can care for each other?
