This quote is from one of the “first modern novels” and perhaps the most famous line of any Spanish novel, that many of you may already know and written by Cervantes. (I’ll be the last few nights in Madrid, the barrior “las letras/cortes” where Cervantes & the other giants of Spanish literature lived.)
