Yes, those conversations in our heads can be brutal. Not wanting to turn this blog into a self help extravaganza, but was it really Mike Tyson that said this?

As I find him dangerous this is in itself remarkable. If you’ve ever spent time alone in your mind you can relate that I had one of those conversations a few minutes before landing in Madrid-WTF are you doing traveling by yourself New Year’s Eve to Malaga, taking an immersion class, looking for a second home, playing pickleball, you have work, family, isn’t the world scary, etc.

And then……I checked into my air bnb (see view from above and below), warmed my self on the terrace in the 70 degree sunshine, watched the families and performers below, walked for hours before sunset and all was good again! Can’t wait for tomorrow!

You can make your neighborhood and mind safe! You don’t have to travel to get out of your mind 🙂
